Welcome to my portfolio. I am a passionate designer who loves the challenge of open-ended problems and working through them to design and implement innovative solutions. I was awarded a distinction in my Mechanical Engineering (MEng) degree at the University of Cambridge and am now enrolled in the Innovation Design Engineering double-masters (MA/MSc) program at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. I hope to use this opportunity to develop my design, creativity, and innovation skills, which should complement my existing engineering skills to make me a highly effective designer and innovator.
I invite you to explore my portfolio to see some examples of my past projects. I have included a combination of work from my time at Royal College of Art, Imperial College London, the University of Cambridge, Tonbridge School, and some completed in my free time. MAXIMILLIAN MEDHURST
Welcome to my portfolio. I am a passionate designer who loves the challenge of open-ended problems and working through them to design and implement innovative solutions. I am currently Co-Founder and CTO of Icenine Drinks, where we are revolutionizing the beverage industry with our bite-sized ice spheres filled with spirits. My main focus is on developing our patent-pending mass-production process and optimizing operations.
I also previously founded Lychee Studios, a consultancy focused on helping clients create prototypes, proof-of-concept models, and one-offs to bring their early ideas to life. This experience helped hone my skills in turning concepts into reality.
I have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, having earned a distinction in my master’s degree (MEng) from the University of Cambridge, which equipped me with the technical skills to tackle challenging projects. I further developed my design, creativity, and innovation skills by completing the Innovation Design Engineering double-masters (MA/MSc) program at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. My hands-on experience includes building everything from fighting robots to prototype waterless washing machines.
